Meet LaDona Ahenda

Hello and welcome to my studio! I am an energetic, enthusiastic piano teacher with 30+ years of experience. It is my joy to pass on a love and appreciation of music to students of all skill levels.

Registered by the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association in Calgary, I am a teacher, adjudicator, accompanist, past examiner, and writer. My primary focus is my studio, where I have guided many students to achieve excellence in piano performance and theory exams. 

Some of my students have continued to pursue a career in music, but all of my students enjoy a life-long appreciation of good music and the ability to express themselves musically. 

I hold a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia and an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance. I am fully qualified to teach all levels of the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada Piano and Theory which includes Rudiments, Harmony, History and Analysis.
